Composition analysis and purity analysis

The compositions of concretes, grouts, and screeds have a major impact on their properties and behaviour. Important aspects of composition include the quantities and qualities of binding and blending agents, the binding affinity, carbonation, and the concentration of harmful components such as chlorides and sulphates.
Composition analysis provides additional information for studying the long-term durability, stability under various conditions, or existing damage to materials containing cement.
We have a wide range of chemical analysis methods for quality control and trouble shooting, for both raw materials and end-products.
Our most commonly used methods
- Thermoanalysis (TG and DTA)
- X-ray diffraction (XRD)
- X-ray fluorescence (XRF)
- Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR)
- Chromatography
- Water- and acid-soluble sulphates and chlorides
