Testing of Smoke Exhaust Ventilators, Smoke Exhaust Fans and Smoke Control Equipment
Eurofins Expert Services performs fire testing according to the product standards for Smoke exhaust ventilators, Smoke exhaust fans and other smoke control products. We take also part in standardization of Smoke exhaust ventilators and fans.
Testing of natural smoke and heat exhaust ventilators
The testing is performed according to standard EN 12101-2: Smoke and heat control systems -part 2: Specification for natural smoke and heat exhaust ventilators. Fire testing is performed in our gas fuelled vertical and horizontal furnaces. The horizontal furnace can accommodate a test specimen of size 3000 x 5000 mm.
Testing of smoke exhaust fans
The testing is performed according to standard EN 12101-3: Smoke and heat control systems -part 3: Specification for powered smoke and heat exhaust ventilators.
Smoke dampers
We perform Smoke damper testing. More information about smoke damper fire testing here.
We also test the Durability of operational reliability of smoke dampers. The cycling tests are done according to EN 15650, chapter 4.3.3.2. Please ask for more information.
