Structural Safety of Boats
We help manufacturers ensure the structural safety of their boats.
The structural safety of a boat is achieved through the correct design and manufacture of the boat. It is almost impossible for a boat buyer to assess a boat's structural safety.
The best way of ensuring a sufficient level of structural safety is to buy a boat whose structural safety has been properly verified and documented by a Notified Body.
Structural safety includes the following segments
- Dimensioning of structures
- Freeboard, stability and buoyancy
- Layout and equipment
- Installations
- Steering properties
