Condensates and strongly odorous samples

Condensates, methanols, turpentines, black liqour and tall oil are highly volatile. Sometimes these matrices can contain high concentrations of sulfur compounds which may cause really strong odor.

Our laboratory can analyze these kind of samples fith GC-, GC/MS and Headspace techniques including:

• Sulfur compounds  (hydrogen sulphide, methylmercaptan, dimethylsulfide and dimethyldisulfide)
• Terpenes or turpentine (+sesquiterpenes)
• Total sulfur
• Water content
• NH3/NH4-N
• Alcohols (methanol and ethanol) and acetone
• Ash
• CHN
