Chemical analyzes of pulp and paper

Our industrial laboratories in Finland include all the traditional testing of pulp and paper used in the forest industry such as kappa number, CED viscosity, carbohydrate composition, extractant content and composition, and metals.

Typical methods for dissolving pulp, such as pentosan and alkali solubility, are included in our analysis.

From paper, board, pulps and process waters we can determine the content of various substances such as carbohydrates, extractives, ASA, AKD, starch, formaldehyde, metals.

Our laboratories can also analyze various process waters

We can also analyze the physical properties of paper and pulp and undergo microscopic examination.
